Abishek K. Ramesh is the Executive Director of Kairali Ayurvedic Group and is recognised as one of the emerging leaders driving the global growth of Ayurveda and wellness tourism. Coming from a traditional Ayurvedic family in Kerala, he combines deep-rooted knowledge of Ayurveda with a modern business outlook focused on international expansion and wellness innovation.
A Mechanical Engineering graduate from the New York Institute of Technology, Abishek joined the family business in 2008 after realising his passion for Ayurveda and holistic healing. Since then, he has played a pivotal role in expanding Kairali Ayurvedic Group’s footprint across wellness centres, pharmaceuticals, spa services and Ayurvedic products.
Under his leadership, the company established 35 Ayurvedic centres across 10 countries between 2009 and 2019, significantly strengthening the global presence of Indian Ayurveda. He has also developed franchise-led wellness and spa models that support hotels, retreats and entrepreneurs in setting up Ayurvedic wellness centres through training, operational guidance and marketing support.
Abishek has also accelerated the growth of the company’s product division, expanding the portfolio from 30 products to nearly 180 Ayurvedic offerings with close to 400 SKUs. With a strong focus on innovation, partnerships and international expansion, he continues to work towards positioning Kairali Ayurvedic Group as a globally recognised Ayurveda and wellness brand.
