His entrepreneurial journey began in 2007 as a Cyber Crime Consultant with the Ahmedabad Crime Branch, where he played a pivotal role in solving complex cases, including cyber trails of major incidents like the Ahmedabad Serial Bomb Blasts and the 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attacks. As Founder & CEO of TechDefence Labs, Sunny has transformed the firm into a global cybersecurity partner for enterprises. Under his leadership, TechDefence has executed 1250+ Infosec projects for 500+ customers worldwide and trained more than 90,000 students across premier institutions in India, building the next generation of cyber professionals.
Recognized nationally and internationally, Sunny has been awarded the ET Industry Leaders 2021 Award, the Indian Ambassador of Cyber Security Award by the Ministry of MSME, and the Times Man of the Year – Cyber Security (2018) by the Times Group.
