Mr. Jayesh Thakkar is the chairman of Mercury EV Tech Ltd. Drawing upon his three decades of entrepreneurial experience and savvy business acumen, Mr. Thakkar ventured into electric mobility solutions. With an inclination of creating 'Make In India' electric automobile brand and seeing India grow environmentally safe, he established Mercury EV Tech Ltd in 2022. In less than 3 years of inception, the company is ready to roll more than 20 types of E-vehicles from two wheelers, L5 loaders to E-bikes and buses. Mr. Thakkar a commerce graduate from Maharaja Sayajirao University, later went on to California where he secured an MBA in Business Management. He has served on several influential bodies and has always been actively involved in philanthropic activities. A realtor, an industrialist and a humanitarian, Mr. Thakkar has been conferred with Limca Book of World Records and honorary doctorate degree in social work for conducting the biggest non commercial Navratri Mahotsav. He has been felicitated by various prestigious organizations and trusts for organising garba event free of cost for women players since twenty five years now. As a chairman of Samvedan Charitable Trust, Mr. Thakkar is deeply committed to giving back to the society and thus has been helping the under privileged and has supported numerous charitable initiatives. He recently gifted six electric three wheelers to different zoos of Gujarat for the facilitation of animal feed and medical needs. He is also having various other business verticals like Real Estate, Pharmaceuticals, Stock Broking, Merchant Banking like devisions since las 20 years.
